M1 Goalkeeping is a leading provider of professional Goalkeeper training, developing young Goalkeepers to their full potential.
It’s our mission to develop and improve Goalkeepers, whilst providing them with endless opportunities, to continually push and grow them as a Goalkeeper and as a person.
We have created a pathway for all our players, which is fluid and based on how our Goalkeepers develop as they grow up.
Our team of professionals focus on developing the whole player with Academy style training sessions, incorporating a variety of different skills and learning outcomes, to produce competent, able & confident Goalkeepers.

We aim to produce competent, able and confident Goalkeepers. We are always updating our methods of training, working on developing our Goalkeepers ability to keep the ball out of the net, as well as their ability with aspects of the game when their team is in possession.

MAT BOTTEN
Director & Lead Coach
Mat has over 5 years coaching experience, starting
when he was 19 years old as a volunteer at a local
grassroots team. Mat has played for both Spurs & QPR between the ages of 11-16, and has developed a detailed understanding of the modern game and how to develop young Goalkeepers to their full potential. He has a wealth of experience coaching elite level Goalkeepers.
OLLY KIEL
Assistant GK Coach & DC Lead Coach
Olly started coaching when he was 16, and represented Arsenal in their academy when he was younger. Olly leads the weekly 1-1 sessions run through the company, as well as our being our Berkhamsted & Dunstable Development
Centre lead. He also currently plays at Step 4 in the nonleague pyramid.
